Azusa is a young printmaker (i.e., lithograph and woodblock) whose bird art is very innovative. Eighteen examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Azusa draws bird shapes accurately but often simplifies their coloring (e.g. pictures 3-8). Pictures 3-7 are especially imaginative, providing a view of tightly packed birds of a single species as seen from above.
